In today's world it's hard not to be overwhelmed by all the talk of

 the worsening economy, war, the environment, politics, and crime.  

Watching the news can bring you quickly to feel depressed

 and like the world just plain sucks.  

But truthfully?

 We are blessed. 

Truly blessed. 

So let's make a list.

So I'm having surgery today which is something I've never done before.
